Mecca Casino & Bingo Club - Bolton - AMBIFLEX

This building hs a central plant serving the gaming and administration areas of both clubs. The Casino runs 24 hours a day but there are still major energy savings to be made by the BEMS.

BT Call Centre - Bury - TREND

A fully air conditioned building with high staffing levels at peak times; the plant comprising six ventilation plantrooms, a boilerhouse and a chiller compound. A particular energy saving feature is the automatic speed control of fans which run at minimum speed when ideal conditions are reached.

Arla Foods plc - Lockerbie Dairy - PRIVA

A milk production and storage facility with intensive logging and recording of product conditions using Priva TC History database. The energy consumption of the factory is recorded by a third party Fieldgate System; via Ethernet the Priva PC OPC Client software enters these values into the database.

Lancaster University - Student Accommodation Blocks - PRIVA

Twenty-seven buildings using the University's Ethernet network to connect to on site Facilities Management contractor. The Priva TC Serve Centre software is programmed to alert the on-call maintenance engineer to critical alarms. A fourth phase of building more accommodation blocks is now under way.

Doncaster Stadium - PRIVA

A fifteen thousand seat stadium and Athletics venue where the Doncaster Rovers FC are based. Also the home of Doncaster Rugby League Club and the Doncaster Belles.

Leeds College of Art & Design, Jacob Kramer College - AMBIFLEX

The recently completed workshop block with its own boiler plant is now in full use. The Ambiflex control system is successfully linked to both the old and new sections of the building.

The Aquatics Centre at the John Charles Centre for Sporte - PRIVA

A new Olympic size pool at the South Leeds Stadium (now the John Charles Centre for Sport). The home of Hunslet League Club; the existing complex also houses an indoor bowls centre, indoor running track and a tennis centre. The aquatics centre, opened on 29 October 2007, includes two submersible booms built into the main pool enable it to be divided into three pools of different sizes and depths, allowing a flexible daily swimming programme. A floating floor allows the depth of the diving pool and 1/3 of the main pool to be varied from two metres to shallow water for teaching and 0-5 meters for the diving pool. It was built as a replacement for the very dated facilities at the Leeds Internationsl Pool.

Current projects in progress

Sheffield University Student Village - PRIVA

Fourty buildings for student accommodation all to be networked via the University's Ethernet. When completed the on-site facilities management company will be able to monitor all plant and building conditions, as well as having an automatic fault call-out for the duty maintenance engineer.
